Calgary Police had an entertaining time playing the Humanity First Disaster Awareness Game Show
We had a wonderful time at the fundraising event held by Humanity First on September 28. The dinner event was held at Baitun Nur Mosque and over 300 people attended to support Humanity First!
This year’s entertainment was unlike any other year! To bring awareness to Humanity First and its many causes, we entertained the crowd with a game show reminiscent of “Jeopardy” and “Who wants to be a millionaire”. The tickets to participate in the game show were completely sold out and I watched in glee as the audience raised their cards excitedly, hoping they win a chance to play for the big prizes.
Using multiple choice questions, we whittled the crowd down to six lucky contestants who have to compete against each other in order to win a limo ride, dinner and a night stay at the Sandman Hotel! The contestants range from children to adults, but it was a smart teen who brought home the grand prize.
